Tamzin Stone

Tamzin started dancing at four years old. She started training in Acrobatics, Contemporary, Jazz and Tap at J&C Dance Creations and later trained in Ballet, Spanish, African and Hip Hop

Tamzin matriculated at the National School of Arts (NSA) in Joburg and completed a BTech degree (2009) at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) where she specialised in performance, musical theatre, choreography and teaching.

She completed the Advanced One and Two levels in Contemporary with DanceCor (a SAQA accreditation for Contemporary, Hip Hop and Tap) and the Senior Dance Teachers Certificate in Acrobatics with AFSA (the Acrobatics Federation of South Africa)

Tamzin’ has represented South Africa in the American Dance Awards (2008), was awarded 1st place in South Africa Championships for Acro-Gymnastics, and was Jazz Dancer of the Year at both NSA and TUT.

She has choreographed and performed at the Grahamstown Festival and The Dance Umbrella, for numerous corporate shows, in music videos and on cruise liners.

She is a versatile, hardworking dancer and choreographer, she teaches at several studios in Joburg and is also completing a Masters in Dance.

Her broad education and diverse experience are highly valued at RSB.
