CULTIVATING EXPRESSION, NURTURING ARTISTRY AND INSPIRING A LOVE FOR DANCE
Konstantin Magazeishchikov a professional Ballet Dancer and Teacher. Konstantin (Kostya) is a graduate of the Rudolf Nureev Choreography College. He performed extensively with many ballet companies, such as Musical Theatre of Karelia, Korolkov Theatre of Classical Ballet, State Conservatory and Mikhailovsky Theatre, St.Petersburg.
In 2012 Konstantin graduated from GITIS (Russian Institut of Theatre Arts), Moscow with a Bachelor’s Degree in Ballet Pedagogy and Choreography. In 2020 he obtained a Master’s degree in Ballet Teaching and Choreography from the Moscow University of Contemporary Arts.
Konstantin has extensive experience in ballet teaching, first at the Moscow Art Center “Friendship”, later on at the Gediminas Taranda Ballet Academy.
During his extensive dancing journey, he had a unique opportunity to work under the guidance of many renowned choreographers including V.Gordeev, M.Boyarchikov, O.Vinogradov, P.Glukhov. These ballet masters as well as M.Kolojvari, N.Duato have all played an instrumental role in shaping his career.
In his teaching, Kostya uses the world-known Vaganova Ballet Method, as well as his own training program that includes elements of rhythm, ballet barre and artistic expression for performing on stage.
At the Russian School of Ballet, Kostya started teaching in June 2020, during the lockdown. He has been successfully teaching all the classes online, all the way from Moscow.
