In 2011, Khaya became a full-time member of Kmad Dance Company under the directorship of Kelsey Middleton. Performing in Kmad’s award-winning productions that have toured South African stages.
In 2013 she was accepted as a company member of Dada Masilo’s international touring
productions such as Swan Lake, Carmen, Spring, and Giselle which have performed across stages in Europe, the USA, Asia, and South Africa.
Khaya has been involved in local and international workshops and outreach programs within Pretoria, Johannesburg and internationally through the Dance Factory international tours. In the year 2019, she started her organizations being K-Movement that focuses on educational, theatre, and commercial application through movement and Ubunye Kreatives an NPO that develop South African communities through movement by theatre showcases, inner-city developments, and educational practices within the schooling environment can assist a child with a daily lifestyle.
