CULTIVATING EXPRESSION, NURTURING ARTISTRY AND INSPIRING A LOVE FOR DANCE
Tamzin started dancing at the age of 4years old and has over 23years of experience. She attended The National School of the Arts, trained in Acrobatics, Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Spanish, Tap, African and Contemporary. Ms.Stone was nominated a Jazz dancer of the year in her final year at N.S.A.
Later on, Tamzin continued her dance education at Tshwane University of Technology, where she studied dance and musical theatre, graduating with a Degree specializing in teaching, choreography and performance.
Ms.Stone’s performance experience includes following:
• Performed at many Grahams Town Arts Festivals throughout her career.
• Represented South Africa in 2008 at American Dance Awards.
• Performed at Dance Umbrella with K.MAD contemporary dance company, National School of the Arts and Tshwane University of Technologhy to name but a few.
• Also performed on the Costa Ariva Ship with Afro Arimba Company.
• Performed in EOH with Tailormade Group in 2016.
Tamzin has worked with renowned and acclaimed dancers and choreographers locally, nationally and internationally. She has choreographed for K.MAD contemporary dance company Next Generation Dance Session. Currently teaching at several studios contemporary, modern and acrobatics as well as still performing and choreographing. Ms.Stone is completing her Masters in Dance.
